Preparation for Your Repair

Would you like to have your latex clothing repaired by us? We’ll be happy to take care of it! To ensure the process runs smoothly and professionally, please follow the instructions below:

Cleaning
Wash your clothing thoroughly until all traces of silicone oil are completely removed. It’s essential that no residue remains, as we cannot work on oily garments.

Powdering
To prevent the latex from sticking, apply a light layer of talcum powder.

Tip:

·       Place the garment in a large plastic bag (e.g., a garbage bag).

·       Add a small towel and a bit of talcum powder.

·       Shake the bag vigorously to distribute the powder evenly.

·       Make sure you don’t use too much or too little powder.

·       Repeat the process if necessary.

Special notes for chlorinated latex clothing
If your clothing is chlorinated, please let us know. Repairs may only be possible to a limited extent or not at all. If a repair is feasible, we’ll do our best to carry it out.

Please send us an email in advance with photos of the damage to office@rubaddiction.com so we can assess the situation. Include a short note with your shipment explaining what should be repaired and where the damage is located.

Costs
Repair costs depend on the required time and effort. If we determine that the cost would exceed the value of the repair, we’ll contact you before proceeding.

Additional damages
We automatically inspect your clothing for any additional or hidden damages and repair them as well. If you do not want this service, please let us know beforehand.

Important:
Garments with silicone oil residue must be cleaned before repair. For this additional service (washing, drying, and powdering), we charge €20.

Repairs of other brands
We also repair latex clothing from other manufacturers, depending on the material and workmanship. Please contact us first to check if we can repair your piece. We kindly ask for your understanding if we have to decline a repair — sometimes it’s simply not worth fixing.

Processing time
Please allow approximately 2–4 weeks for processing. During busy periods, it may take up to 4–6 weeks.
